Originally established in Sydney, Shanglish has become one of Australia’s leading destinations for authentic Lebanese dining, combining traditional flavours, warm hospitality, and modern presentation. What began as a celebration of Lebanese street food and culture has grown into a thriving brand that now proudly operates across both Sydney and Melbourne, with its newest expansion bringing the Shanglish experience to Broadmeadows, Victoria. Inspired by the bustling streets of Beirut, the famous kaak carts of Tripoli, and generations of family traditions, Shanglish is built around the belief that great food brings people together. Every aspect of the dining experience has been carefully designed to reflect the spirit of Old Lebanon, where hospitality is second nature and every meal is an opportunity to create lasting memories. At the heart of Shanglish is a menu that honours Lebanese heritage while embracing a contemporary approach. Crafted by Executive Chef Youssef Anid, the menu showcases a range of traditional favourites prepared using premium ingredients, bold spices, and time-honoured cooking techniques. Guests can enjoy everything from freshly baked kaak, authentic fatteh bowls, crispy kibbeh, falafel, foul, and kafta, through to modern interpretations of classic Lebanese dishes that appeal to today’s diners.
